He was predeceased by: his parents, John Idler and Kathryn Idler (Bassi); his siblings, Terry, Patrick, Vincent, Joan, Nancy and Judy; and his daughter Michelle Dermody.
He is survived by: his siblings, Martin, Guy, Sally and Paula; his wife Lucie Idler (Rankin); his children, Denise Fischer (Russ), Andrew Idler (Heather) and Catherine Idler; and his grandchildren, Nicholas Idler (Kate), Ryan, Andrea, Parker Idler, Natalie Fischer, Vanessa, Gabriella and Rebecca Cefaloni.
In lieu of flowers, Barry's family asks that you honor his memory by doing something special for someone in need or by making a donation to your favorite charity.
