He was predeceased by: his father-in-law Louis Paterno. He is survived by: his wife Dr. Jeanette Paterno; his sons, Jonathan and Harrison Westfall; his pet Penny; his close friends, Alyssa Waters and Skylar DeJesus; his mother-in-law Ellen Paterno; his brother-in-law James Paterno (Heather McDanel); and his nephews, Christopher Paterno (Brianna Nelson) and Matthew Paterno (Megan Gallagher).
