It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gregory Portway of Hackettstown, New Jersey, who passed away on October 2, 2025, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Portway and Ann Portway. He is survived by: his wife Marianne; his daughters, Shannon and Erica; his siblings, Ann Cooney and Douglas Portway; his mother-in-law Maria; his brother Ralph; and his sister-in-law Sally. He is also survived by 15 nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Maguire Memorial (124 High St, Hackettstown, NJ 07840). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Hackettstown Union Cemetery (153 Mountain Ave, Hackettstown, NJ 07840).
