It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joan Doris Kirchner of Hackettstown, New Jersey, born in Paterson, New Jersey, who passed away on July 13, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Joan Doris departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Joan Doris. Though Joan Doris may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Winters and Mary Winters; her husband Carl E. Kirchner; and her brother Donald Kirchner (Joan). She is survived by: her children, Jacqueline Tyndall (Russell), Eric Kirchner (Penny), Carl Kirchner (Vicki) and Heidi Kirchner (David). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
A burial will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 10:45 AM. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the Laurel Grove Cemetery (295 Totowa Rd, Totowa, NJ 07512).
