We are sad to announce that on April 13, 2024, at the age of 87, John E. Brennan of Hackettstown, New Jersey, born in Elizabeth, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, John Brennan and Emily Brennan; and his grandson Liam Shackleton. He is survived by : his wife Judith; his children, Michael Brennan (Joyce), John Brennan (Linda), Tim Brennan (Melinda), Ed Brennan (Melissa) and Jacquelyn Shackleton (William); and his grandchildren, Amy, John, Kristin, Ryan, Kira, Jessica, Chad, Emily, Zachary, Samantha, Daniel and Jake.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Gosselin Funeral Home (660 New Dover Rd, Edison, NJ 08820). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Gertrude Cemetery (53 Inman Ave, Colonia, NJ 07067). The inurnment was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the St Gertrude Cemetery (53 Inman Ave, Colonia, NJ 07067).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Dementia Society of America.
