He was predeceased by : his brother Robert; and his parents, Hugh and Frances. He is survived by : his wife Linda; his children, Andrea and Daniel; his grandchildren, Ellalynn and Clinton; and his siblings, Scott and Jan.

In lieu of flowers, the family is establishing a memorial scholarship fund for graduates of Hackettstown High School.

While I never stuck with it consistently, I learned a lot about respect, discipline and self-control through your martial arts teachings. You provided medical treatment and advice during my involvement in sports. You also helped me get over some serious "Senioritis" during your literature class; I would not have graduated had you not helped me. Thank you for all you did; you will be greatly missed. -TJ Bruno”
