It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marion Ellen Lance of Hackettstown, New Jersey, born in Jersey City, New Jersey, who passed away on July 12, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Manahan and Margaret Manahan (Powers); and her siblings, William Manahan, Thomas Manahan, Judith Manahan, Robert Manahan, John Manahan and Patricia Manahan.
She is survived by: her children, Amanda Lance (Kyle Lauyer), Jeffrey Moore (Susan), Edward "Chip" Moore (Andrea), Scott Moore (Barbara) and Timothy-Francis Moore (Carol); her sisters, Margaret "Peggy" Terrel (James) and Francine Walsh (Eugene); her grandchildren, Edward "Seth" (Kathy Ann), Ryan, Kaitlyn, Jessica, Colin, Sean and McKenna; and her great grandchildren, Serenity and Hunter. She is also survived by loving mother to her five children and grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Cochran Funeral Home (905 High St, Hackettstown, NJ 07840). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice Foundation, 99 Sparta Avenue, Newton, NJ 07860 in memory of Marion.
