Philip E. Hammel Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Philip E. Hammel of Hackettstown, New Jersey. Philip, born on November 9, 1949, passed away on August 31, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Hammel and Dorothy Hammel; his former wife Susan C. Hammel; and his brother-in-law Greg Stahl. He is survived by: his wife B. J. Hammel; his children, Scott Hammel (Patricia) and Amy Peruyera (Andy Santana); his grandchildren, Trenadie Walz, Nicolas Hammel and Olivia Hammel; his sister Patricia Minier (Ken); and his sisters-in-law, Birdine Stahl and Barbara Martin. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nephews, cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity United Methodist Church (213 Main St, Hackettstown, NJ 07840).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Tri-County Fire Company, 1720 Route 57, Hackettstown, NJ 07840.
