Ralph C. Knechel Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ralph C. Knechel of Hackettstown, New Jersey, who passed away on October 8, 2025 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Knechel and Annie Knechel (Wiley); his wife Lois Rossy Knechel; his son Thomas Knechel (Joan); and his siblings, Howard "Bud" Knechel and Ruth Nunn.
He is survived by: his daughter Linda Bahnuk (Timothy); his grandchildren, Jennifer Scott (Dave) and Mark Bahnuk (Erikka); and his great grandchildren, Abigail Scott, Harper and Hazel Bahnuk.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cochran Funeral Home (905 High St, Hackettstown, NJ 07840). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Joan Knechel Cancer Center, c/o Hackettstown Medical Center, 651 Willow Grove Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840 in memory of Ralph.
