He was predeceased by: his parents, George "Wally" Batson and Kathryn "Kitty" Batson (Ryer). He is survived by: his wife Susan Batson (Horsken); his sons, Douglas (Pam) and Stephen (Linda); and his grandsons, Max and Ben Batson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
