He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen J. Byelick and Genevieve Byelick (Morelli); and his wife Gudrun. He is also survived by children, 16 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

“I am very saddened to have just found out about the passing of Steve.today . As a volunteer at Forest Manor Steve held a very special place in my heart. We shared many conversations that I will treasure. Although his body was failing him he always had a smile and the most positive attitude anyone could hope for. We enjoyed doing MASH trivia and I enjoyed our lunches and time we had to chat. He will be greatly missed by me. My deep condolences to the family.”
