We are sad to announce that, on May 5, 2026, at the age of 87, Walter Sandell Jr. of Haddon Heights, New Jersey, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son Austin M. Sandell. He is survived by: his wife Joan Sandell; his children, Joannie (Jason Miles), Walter G. III (Sheila), Jeannie M. (William Hunt) and Edward J.; his grandchildren, Jason, Dory, Annie, Matthew, Olivia, Charlie, Eddie Jr., Aidan, Walter G. IV, Penelope, Daisy and Mabel; his siblings, John Sandell and Eleanor Tuomey; and his sister-in-law Christine Sandell. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
