He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Myra Kain; his children, Dr. Michael Kain (Lois Choi-Kain) and Rachel Downie (Patrick); his grandchildren, Emma, Abigail Kain and Lindsay Downie; his siblings, Patricia Kain (Bill Evans), Robert Kain (Rosalynn Sumners) and Stephen Kain (Carole); and his parents, Dr. Eugene H. Kain and Janet Kain of Haddonfield.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kain-Murphy Funeral Services (15 West End Ave, Haddonfield, NJ 08033). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Christ the King Roman Catholic Church (200 Windsor Ave, Haddonfield, NJ 08033).
