He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret; his brothers, Roger and Keith; his parents, Charles Douma and Edith Douma; and his in-laws, Tom and Ruth Dowd.
He is survived by: his children, Amy Brooks (Patrick), Jason Douma (Jennifer) and Lauren Burton (Eric); his grandchildren, Andrew, Jenna, Colin, Samantha, Greyson and Luciana; Carole Dowd and Karen Douma. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, as well as friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Vander Plaat-Vermeulen Memorial (530 High Mountain Rd, Franklin Lakes, NJ 07417). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location.
