He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Melissa Carey (Jason) of Hardyston, NJ, Kimberly Scholz of Hamburg, Allison Rossi (Peter) of Hamburg and Richard, Jr. (Lauren); his grandchildren, Tyler, Jacob, Alexa, Gianna and Rileigh; and his sister Ruth Ann Scholz Amrheim of Toms River, NJ. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
