He was predeceased by: his wife Gertrud; his parents, Therese Rossbach and Hugo Rossbach; and his siblings, Richard, Helen Laubert, Marion Gabriel and Emily Carlson.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Rossbach (Susan), Regina Strawn (Jeff), Michele Thomas (Keith) and Richard Rossbach (Elise); his grandchildren, Katherine Rossbach (Andrew), Michael Rossbach (Angie), Amanda Busciacco (Michael), Richard Rossbach (Nicole) and Jeanette Rossbach; his great grandchild Malea Gertrud Busciacco; and his sister-in-law Barbel Weidemeier.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Vincent de Paul Church (5021 Harding Hwy, Mays Landing, NJ 08330). A Mass will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 12:15 PM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (5061 Harding Hwy, Mays Landing, NJ 08330).
He served on the Greater Egg Harbor Regional Board of Education for 23 years (President for 7) and was an active member of the Ralph Martin Foundation.
