John Hawkins Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, John S. R. Hawkins (Marie Hawkins Steeb) and Jack; and his siblings, Geraldine Kline and Dr. Robert Steeb. He is survived by: his wife Emma; his children, Gail Jones (Paul), Jackie Stiles (Lew), John (Doris), Robert (Debbie) and Kim (James); his brother Paul Steeb; and his grandchildren, Michael, Brian, Todd, Christina, Emily, Stephen and Kerri. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Viewing was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Vincent DePaul Church (5021 Harding Hwy, Mays Landing, NJ 08330). A Mass was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 12:15 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (5061 Harding Hwy, Mays Landing, NJ 08330).
