He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertha Barber and Robert J. Barber, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Barber; his children, Samuel C. Barber, Jr. (Zakia), JoJo L. Barber and Shanece Barber; his siblings, Robert J. Barber, Jr., Ellis J. Barber, Rossell H. Barber (LaShawn), Leonard L. Barber, Tony A. Barber (Cynthia), Sandra E. Barber and Belton (Furman); and his grandchildren, Samuel C. Barber III, Zoe Barber and Joniya Barber. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Shiloh Baptist Church (340 Calhoun St, Trenton, NJ 08618).
