He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Bowers, Sr. and Mary Bowers (Crea); and his stepson Charles "Chuck" Van Marter. He is survived by: his wife Betty A. Bowers. He is also survived by his brother, his sisters-in-law, and brothers-in-law.
