With sadness, we share the passing of Carmela C Smith of Hamilton, New Jersey. Carmela, born on January 1, 1943, passed away on August 19, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Philip Bruccoleri and Lucy Bruccoleri (Marano); and her husband Louis F. Smith. She is survived by: her siblings, Marie Wrobel and Samuel Bruccoleri; her children, Christopher Smith (Rose), Rita Smith and Luann Smolka (Dave); her grandchildren, Heidi Gardner (Tyler), Alecia Burroughs (Kevin), Briana Stowe (Nolan), Jenna Brink, Anthony, Bryan, Steven and Victoria Smolka; her brother Philip Bruccoleri (Joanne); and her caregivers, Sasha Ferguson and Hassadine Russell. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brenna Funeral Home, Immordino Chapel (1799 Klockner Rd, Hamilton Township, NJ 08619). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Anthony's Church (626 S Olden Ave, Trenton, NJ 08629).
