He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ann Brown and Charles A. Gravener; his sisters, Marjorie Blair (Daniel Blair) and Nancy Minor (Laird Minor); his wife Jo Ann Clayton; his children, Julie Ann Gravener Davis, Charles William Gravener Jr. and James Clayton Gravener; and his grandchildren, Emma Sargent, Charles "Will" Gravener, Lincoln C. Davis, Winston P. Davis and Anna Jo Gravener. He was also cherished by his sisters and their spouses, children and their spouses, grandchildren and many dear cousins, nieces, nephews and great nieces, nephews and granddogs.
