He was predeceased by: his parent Marn Chen (Wu). He is survived by: his wife Liang Jyu Chen of Hamilton; his sons, Raymond (Yeen-Shi Chen) and Kevin (Alverina Chen); his sister Sue Yeun Su; his brother-in-law Dong Po Ho of Taipei, Taiwan; and his granddaughter Chloe Chen of Vancouver, BC. He is also survived by his several nieces, nephews and loving family members.
