He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Nixon and Rita Ann Sweeney Cox; and his son Blake Nixon. He is survived by: his child Ed's; his wife Debra Nixon; his children, Heather, Patrick (Skylar), Kenny, Jimmy McDonnell, Kevin and Alexis Nixon; his brothers, Johnny (Bitsy), Jeffrey (Pauline) and Christopher Nixon; his grandchildren, Darren, Ray-Ray, Ariana, Jaxon, Levi, Brynlee and Ava; his siblings' children, Paige, Amanda, Johnny, Quentin, Richie and Christopher; and his friend George Sexton.
