He was predeceased by : his parents, Ernesto Loffredo, Sr. and Giovannina "Jennie" Conte Loffredo; his siblings, Michael Loffredo, Sr., Genaro Loffredo, Joseph Loffredo, Sr., Virginia DiLisa, Sylvia Burroughs and Julia Guagliardo; his siblings-in-law, Michael DiLisa, William King, Stephen Kovacs, Anna Mae Loffredo and Dorothy Loffredo; and his pets, Champ, Lady Dolly and Marley Hampton Loffredo, III.

He is survived by : his wife Carol Kelestyn Loffredo; his sisters, Carmela Loffredo Kovacs, Jean Vitella and Mary King; his brother-in-law Carmen Guagliardo; and his pets, Blake and Remy. He is also survived by several cousins, and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Ernie's name may be made to Alzheimer's New Jersey (https://interland3.donorperfect.net).
