He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Ugboma and Beatrice Ojiuzo Opene. He is survived by: his wife Bibiana Chinyere Opene (Ekeozor); his children, Sunny Ekeozor, Adaku Opene, Ifeoma Okeke, Ngozi Okoli, Nkechi Opene, Amaechi Ikeoha and Ugochukwu Opene; and his siblings, Vincent Opene, Gabriel Opene, Ego Nwachukwu, Nneka Emezina, Nonye Opene and Uche Opene. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM and from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cellini Funeral Home (2365 Whitehorse Mercerville Rd, Hamilton Township, NJ 08619). A committal service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery (1800 Hamilton Ave, Hamilton Township, NJ 08619).
