He is survived by: his wife Diane Closson (Rivera); his children, James Closson Jr. (Alysa), Jennifer Severs (Darrin), Charles Closson (Michele), Danielle Heisler (Shane), Chelsea Goodwin (Dan) and Noelle Goodwin; his grandchildren, Gianna, Angelina, James III, Jemma, Chuckie, Melanie, Carter and Paige; and his brother Joseph Closson (Lorraine).
