He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Gafgen and Elsie M. Gafgen (Harris); his brother-in-law Kevin Mulligan; and his parents-in-law, Carole and Donald Mulligan.
He is survived by: his wife Noreen Gafgen (Mulligan) of Hamilton; his brother John; his siblings-in-law, Kathleen Gafgen of Pennington, NJ, Elaine Mulligan, John Geletej of Burlington, NJ and Denise Mulligan of Medford, NJ; his nieces and nephews, Kelsy Geletej, Courtney, Brendan, Connor Mulligan, Sarah Gafgen and Karl Smith; his great-niece Anastasia Smith of Philadelphia, PA; and his friends, Jonathan Kuehn of Germany, Golden and Holly.
They also require all guests to please wear masks when attending the visitation and services.
