With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan M. Rooney of Hamilton, New Jersey, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 25, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Edward Fadigan and Anna Fadigan; and her husband Francis X. Rooney. She is survived by : her sons, Francis X. Rooney, Jr., Michael J. Rooney and Stephen E. Rooney (Heidi); her sisters, Lois and Irene; and her grandchildren, Frank, Ian, Sean, Dakota, Dylan and James.
