Joan M. Thomas Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan M. Thomas of Hamilton, New Jersey, born in New Brunswick, New Jersey, who passed away on April 15, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Joan's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Joan has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Meagher, and James Meagher, Sr.; her brother James J. "Jack" Meagher, Jr.; and her sister-in-law Darcy Meagher. She is survived by: her husband Michael Thomas; her grandchildren, Brian Thomas (Charles), Jeffrey Thomas (Marci), James Thomas and Kimberly Thomas; and her siblings, Thomas Meagher (Audrey) and Mary Sanderson (Edward). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and close cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Saul Colonial Home (3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Township, NJ 08690). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Sorrows Roman Catholic Church (3816 E State St, Hamilton Township, NJ 08619).
