He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph A. Hurley, Sr. and Martha Hurley (Bergstrom); his wife Virginia "Ginny" R. Hurley; his parents-in-law, Wilfred and Helen Roissier (Schmidt); his brother Mickey; his sister-in-law Honey Hurley; his sister Anne; his siblings-in-law, John Mitos, Grace Roissier and Helen Timko; his sons-in-law, Kurt Zahler, Terry Clarke and Bob DeFazio; and his friends, Doris and Bob Bogdan.

He is survived by: his former wife Virginia Roissier; his daughters, Ginny (Bob Haines), Nancy (Albert Rhodes), Cindy DeFazio and Joan Zahler (Joseph Rhodes); his grandchildren, Albert, Jennifer Rhodes, Patricia, Dean Marrone, Erin Clarke, Shannon Clarke, Courtney Clarke, Marcy Rodriguez, Caitlin and Ken Lugo; his grandson-in-law Joseph Goss; his great grandchildren, Morgan, Kevin Arteaga, Isaiah, Jackson, Addison, Aidan, Avery, Xander, Owen and Noah; and his friends, Sue Caruso (late Pat), Bob Mosley, Riley and Milo. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
