He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Battista and Mary "Theresa" Battista (Francese); his siblings, Frederick Santitoro, Concetta Marino, Emily Benedetti, Maryanne Chordas and Sammy Battista; and his sister-in-law Stella L. Castaldo.
He is survived by: his wife Georgiana Battista (Castaldo); his sons, Joseph D. Battista (Darlene) and Sammy Battista (Theresa Giovacchini); his granddaughter Stella Battista; and his nephew John Castaldo. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
