It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leocadio Martinez of Hamilton, New Jersey, who passed away on August 11, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by : his parents, Manuel Martinez and Maria Rodriguez; his sister Haydee Martinez (Rosario Martinez); his wife Patricia Goins Martinez; his son Anthony; his daughter-in-law Alin Martinez; his daughters, Caterina Gutierrez (Rigoberto) and Maria Martinez; his siblings, Juan, Hector, Manuel, Luis Martinez, Mercedes, Mari Martinez, Maria Hernandez and Gisela Cintron; and his grandchildren, Bianca, Gabriel, Ciara, Thalia and Brandon. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He enjoyed widespread admiration within the community, thanks to his notable contributions to the softball league, resulting in numerous trophy victories.
