She was predeceased by: her parents, Juan Maldonado and Eva Maldonado (Pinto); her husband Guillermo Acevedo; and her sibling Carmen Jimenez. She is survived by: her children, Georgina Schaefer, Marcos Santiago (Juana), Julio Silva (Anna) and Jimmy Silva; and her grandchildren, Rommy (Jerry Klamerus), Ronald Santiago (Jen), Marcos Santiago, Jr., Mickey, Rita Santiago, Julio, Xavier, Jimmy J. and Katia Silva. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
