She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Gonzalez and Mamie Gonzalez (Muller); her brothers, Joseph Gonzalez and Henry Gonzalez; and her sons, John Roberts and Brian Roberts.

She is survived by: her children, Patricia Roberts, Mark Roberts (Barbara), Michelle Nelson, Yvonne Bless and Renee Day; her former husband Ken Vanek; and her sister Katherine Vanderbelt. She is also survived by many grandchildren; great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
