The passing of Richard E. LaRue of Hamilton, New Jersey, born in Trenton, New Jersey leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on May 1, 2026 at the age of 87. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward W. LaRue and Ellen May LaRue (Smith); his sister Betty Jane Walentukonis (LaRue); his son Richard D. LaRue; and his daughter-in-law Christine LaRue (Szymanski).

He is survived by: his wife Margaret LaRue (Duffy); his son Andrew LaRue; his daughter-in-law Barbara LaRue (Stogoski); his daughter Carolyn Anderson (LaRue); his son-in-law Donald "Skinny" Anderson; and his grandchildren, Edward LaRue, Jack, Sam Anderson, Daniel and Charlotte LaRue. He is also survived by many extended family members, and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Richard's memory to the Cape May Zoo.
