She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Williams and Marie Williams; her husband Martin Lawrence, Jr.; her children, Martin Lawrence, III and Sally Swanson; and her siblings, Marie Vanderbilt and Richard Williams.

She is survived by: her children, Susan Lawrence and Mark Lawrence; her granddaughters, Sherry Solomon, Joy Holman, Mallory, Bridget and Sarah Phelan; and her great grandchildren, Amanda, Samantha Ortutay and Colleen Garrahan. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews.
