It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vincenzo J DiDonato of Hamilton, New Jersey, born in New York, New York, who passed away on May 27, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Luigi DiDonato and Grace Caldarola DiDonato; and his siblings, Frank, Henry, Nick, Benny, Mary, Lena and Anna.
He is survived by: his wife Grace J. DiDonato; his children, George DiDonato, Vincent DiDonato (Susan) and Denise (Alan Meinster); his grandchildren, James, Elaina, Stephen DiDonato, Abbey Schirmer (Sam), Danielle Sweeney (Matt), Jenna Elliot (Steve), Julia Meinster (Owen Dingelstedt) and Grace Meinster; his great grandchildren, Declan, Kalan Sweeney, Graham Elliott and Leo Schirmer; his sister Emily Parriski; his sister-in-law Rosalie Thoma; his close friend Marian; his friend Lonny Conte; his niece Valerie Kraml; and his friend Brian Woods. He is also survived by nieces, and nephews, and lifelong friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brenna Funeral Home, Immordino Chapel (1799 Klockner Rd, Hamilton Township, NJ 08619). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 8:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Washington Crossing National Cemetery (830 Highland Rd, Newtown, PA 18940).
To honor Jimmy's generous spirit, the family asks that, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (https://fundraising.stjude.org), a cause dear to his heart.
