It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William John Sweeney of Hamilton, New Jersey, born in Allentown, New Jersey, who passed away on December 1, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, William James and Catherine Sweeney (Kelly); and his siblings, James Sweeney, Kathryn Sweeney and Patricia Celentano.

He is survived by : his friend Pick-It; his wife Susann Mary Sweeney (Waranis); his children, William Alexander Sweeney (Marianne), Madeline Kathleen (Michael Sorgenti) and Kimberly Ann Thoms; his grandchildren, Samantha, Gavin Sweeney and Michael Sorgenti; his great-nephew Vincent Timian; his great-niece Ava Timian; his sisters, Marianne Sweeney and Theresa Sweeney; and his siblings-in-law, Giuseppe Celentano and Mary Waranis Soran (Kelly). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family members and dear friends.
