She was predeceased by: her husband Richard E. Mitchell; her son David E. Mitchell; her siblings, Catherine Lane and Anthony Scaffidi; and her parents, Mary Scaffidi and William Scaffidi.

She is survived by: her daughters, Janice Mitchell Mintz (Robert) of Pennington, NJ and Judith Mitchell Bowley of Medford, NJ.; and her sister-in-law Carolyn Shaffer.
