She was predeceased by: her husband Fernando "Freddie" Melendez; and her daughter Lydia Melendez. She is survived by: her children, Fernando Melendez, Jr., Julia M. Rian, John O. Melendez and Lisa Melendez; her grandchildren, Louis Melendez, Ariel Melendez and Alyssa Melendez; and her siblings, Elvira and John. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
