We announce the death of Gina M. Mertis of Hammonton, New Jersey, who passed away on September 5, 2026, at the age of 56. She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Ricciutti and Lucille Comuso Ricciutti; and her brother Stephen Rooney. She is survived by: her husband Emmanuel "Manny" Mertis; her sons, Manny and Stephen Mertis; her sisters, Cindy Neduchin and Marilyn Garvey; and her sister-in-law Nancy Rooney. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and all her friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Marinella Funeral Home (102 N 3rd St, Hammonton, NJ 08037). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish (285 US-206, Hammonton, NJ 08037). A burial was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 11:15 AM to 11:45 AM at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (248 S 1st Rd, Hammonton, NJ 08037).
