Barrett Jr. of Hammonton, New Jersey, born in Atlantic City, New Jersey leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on October 12, 2025 at the age of 61. He was predeceased by: his mother Dale Barrett; his father-in-law Albert Marsch; and his brother-in-law Bill Donoflio. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Barrett; his grandchildren, Anthony, Gabrielle, John IV, Taylor, Kenny, Sabrina, Kelsey and Roman; his mother-in-law Catherine Marsch; his in-laws, Kathy Donoflio, Susan, George Husta, Karen Marsch and Pauline Liepe; and his close friends, John Carrigan and Marlene Vaniman. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Marinella Funeral Home, Inc. (102 N 3rd St, Hammonton, NJ 08037). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish - St. Joseph (226 French St, Hammonton, NJ 08037). A burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (248 S 1st Rd, Hammonton, NJ 08037).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in John's name to the American Cancer Society.
