She was predeceased by: her parents, Giuseppe Portale and Michela Portale; her husbands, Frank Buono and Paul Buondonno; her brother Giovanni Portale; and her siblings-in-law, Josephine Donato (Graziella Portale) and Peppe.
She is survived by: her son-in-law Michael; her grandchildren, Francesca and Shannon; her daughter Maria Rosa Higgins (Michael); her siblings, Michele Portale, Graziella Portale Crisci and Maria Portale Modaffari; her nephew Charles Donato; and her grandchild Dean Higgins. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
