Gary will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Gary by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Gary is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Gary’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ludwig Flyge and Gertrude Flyge; and his sister Joan Leyden. He is survived by: his wife Toni Adele; his children, Eric (Jamie) and Lauren (Lamour); and his granddaughter Emma. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Pizzi Funeral Home (120 Paris Ave, Northvale, NJ 07647). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Victories RC Church (150 Harriot Ave, Harrington Park, NJ 07640).
