It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth (Smith) Ostman of Harrison, New Jersey, born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on August 27, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband Edward J.. She is survived by : her children, Jeff (Cathy), Gary (Cheryl) and Debbie Makowski (Mark); her grandchildren, Jessica Agatinio (Dan), Martin Lowe, Renee Martelli (Greg), Tara Stevens (Billy), Lisa Mosior (Steven), Jill Makowski, Edward Ostman and Sierra Ostman; and her great grandchildren, Brandon, Cora, Jack, Emma, Grace, Leo, Gabriel and Billy.

Penny O'brien wrote a sympathy message

“I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your mom. I always called her Betty O I took care of her at Knoll Views she was a great person always had a smile. What I am going to miss about her when she always told me to shut up. I always went up to her and hug her and kissed her and told her I loved her . She did not like being hug but when I did it I knew she liked it. Betty I can not believe you are gone you will be missed and be in my heart. I love you 💘 May you RIP Love always Penny XOXO”
