It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Mary DiMurro of Harrison, New Jersey, born in Kearny, New Jersey, who passed away on May 27, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, James Murphy and Jane Murphy; her husband Richard Sr.; her son Richard Jr.; and her siblings, Jane Feuerstein, James Murphy and John Murphy.

She is survived by : her children, Gregory, Patricia DiMurro, Donna, Edward Harris, Gina and Bill Tipton; her grandchildren, Ceallaigh, Thomas, James, Diarmad, Deaglan, Benjamin and Samuel; and her siblings, Harry Murphy and Dolores Montelli. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in loving memory of Rita.
