He was predeceased by: his parents, Cosmo Sasso and Maria Sasso (Sancilio); and his wife Rosa Sasso (Mastropasqua). He is survived by: his children, Maria, Mario and Anna (Renato Giacchi); and his grandchildren, Nicola Giacchi, Alex Giacchi, Marissa Pinto, Danielle Pinto and Natalie Pinto.
