“I want to offer my condolences to the Vanderhool family and friends. It is a painful thing to lose a love one in death. Even Jesus gave way to tears when Lazarus died (John 11:35).Take comfort in knowing that our Heavenly Father knows your pain. He calls death an enemy and promised to remove it forever__ 1 Corinthians 15:26 “The last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing”. He also promised to awaken our love ones in the memorial tombs from asleep in death. Notice how this is beautifully expressed at Isaiah 26:19 “Your dead will rise ...Awake and shout joyfully you residents in the dust! ...the earth will let those powerless in death come to life." I hope these words give all of you comfort.”
