With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Giuseppina Mauro of Hawthorne, New Jersey, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Salvatore Mauro; her daughters, Laura Miller (Roger) of Pompton Lakes and Linda Mottola (Frank) of Myersville, MD.; her grandchildren, Alyssa, Frankie, Cristina, Nicky and Joey; and her siblings, Maria Giovanna (Frank Sagato) and Salvatrice Calandra.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Browning-Forshay Funeral Home (557 Lafayette Ave, Hawthorne, NJ 07506). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Anthony's R. C. Church (276 Diamond Bridge Ave, Hawthorne, NJ 07506). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Fair Lawn Memorial Cemetery (22-21 Maple Ave, Fair Lawn, NJ 07410).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
