Harold Bontekoe Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Harold Bontekoe of Hawthorne, New Jersey, who passed away on July 15, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cornelius and Anne. He is survived by: his wife Anita Lynn Bontekoe; his grandchildren, Jaelyn, William, Kira, Samuel and Lucy; and his siblings, Jon (Mary), Anne (Alan) and Paul (Jeffrey). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Vander Plaat Memorial (113 S Farview Ave, Paramus, NJ 07652). A memorial service was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
